APBioNET launched the International Symposium on Bioinformatics (InSyB) in 2017 to fill the space between InCoB, the annual International Conference on Bioinformatics, and the local workshops and training courses that the network supports at irregular intervals. Each edition runs for one or two days, carries a theme set by its local host, and is built around keynote lectures, short talks, discussion, posters and structured contact between early-career researchers and senior figures in the field.
Nine editions have been held since 2017, in five countries and four of them online.
The record below is the series archive. Where an edition’s original website has gone offline, the APBioNET-hosted mirror is given instead.
Institutions interested in hosting a future edition are invited to submit an Expression of Interest.
